A trip up the river to the bay!!

Well it's official....the boat floats!!! LOL! The reconditioning of our boat is done and we went out for our first family trip a few weeks back. At first the kiddo's didn't seem to like it that well....which was our biggest fear...but after only a short while they seemed to not be so scared and started to enjoy them selves a bit more! As always there are pictures sooooooo enjoy!!! :O)

These are the "I'm not to sure this is going to be what WE call FUN smiles! LOL

But after awhile it was "WHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

Of course snacks can make everything all better!!! :O)

The cutest ever captain of a ship!!! Oh and YES she is driving the boat!!! :O)

OMG!!! This tug was coming RIGHT AT US!!! We kept turning and it would keep heading straight for us!!!! YIKES!! :O)

But it turned at the last moment and went on past us....the area that we were in was a bit narrow so the tug was making it's way to the center where it was deepest. :O)

This was one of the many, many sailboats that we saw that day!!! This was so cool to watch go by! The kiddo's were amazed at how big they all were!!

We are in the canal and man o man how would you like to wake up to that view everyday?
